The 2024AcademyAwardsarejust a few days away, meaning your favoritefilm stars areputting the finishing touches on their glamorous looks in anticipation ofwalking the red carpetat the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, March 10. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the ceremony will honor last year's most groundbreaking achievements in filmmaking and acting.
The most nominatedmovie of the night is Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, which is up for a whopping 13 awards, includingnods for its stars Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr. Meanwhile, Barbie, the highest-grossing film of 2023, earned eight, with Ryan Gosling and America Ferrera each being recognized for their stellar performances.
And, yes, there will be plenty more A-listers inattendance, withstars like Blunt,Jennifer Lawrence, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong'o, Michelle Yeoh,Anya Taylor-Joy, Al Pacino, Issa Rae, Chris Hemsworth,Dwayne Johnson,Rita Moreno, Jamie Lee Curtis,Mary SteenburgenandZendaya and Nicolas Cage all among the star-studded list of presenters.
So is legendary directorSteven Spielberg, as well asBarbie costarsKate McKinnonand Ferrera, whoare set topresent an award together.
And there will be a miniBeetlejuice reunion, asMichael Keaton and Catherine O'Harahave also been paired up to announce an award winner onstage. During a recent Oscars rehearsal, the two showcased great chemistry onstage and drew many laughs.
